Four security men killed in Bannu suicide attack

MIRANSHAH: Suspected Taliban rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a security forces convoy at Mirzail checkpost in Frontier Region Bannu on Monday, killing four security personnel and wounding nine others.

The convoy was going to Miranshah from Bannu when it was attacked at Mirzail checkpost. Of the nine injured, two were passers-by. Two vehicles were also destroyed. Separately, seven mortar shells fired from the Afghan side of the border landed in various areas of North Waziristan.
